Sir Alex Ferguson left the bulk of his big names back in England for Wednesday's 1-1 draw, but Rooney was among those to feature at Stadio Olimpico.
He captained United for the first time and, having been sidelined with foot and ankle injuries already this season, is in no mood to sit out any more matches.
"I've missed enough games this season to be sitting out of any game," Rooney told Sky Sports News. # b  {/ [, C( `
"I want to play in all the games. I didn't want to miss any more, especially after the start of the season. It was good for me to have a run-out tonight. - 专业·专注·曼联中文网站) m* R) J; P/ t1 j( Z

The striker also believes the likes of Gerard Pique, who scored United's goal, and Jonny Evans will benefit from the experience of playing against Roma.
He added: "It was a good experience for a lot of the younger players coming in to the team. They handled it well and we got a good result.
"To play Champions League, Roma away is a massive game for some of the young lads, but they have come in and done really well, and I think everyone is proud of that.

这是他第一次戴起队长袖标，刚刚从脚踝受伤中恢复过来的鲁尼，现在不想再坐在场外看比赛。
