Scholes urges Man Utd to go for Bolton's Nolan

Paul Scholes has been scouting Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Nolan for Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Sun says Scholes was in the stands last Saturday as Bolton, led by skipper Nolan, beat West Ham.
He was scribbling notes throughout - and was sent there by Ferguson to do a report on midfielder Nolan, 23.
Ferguson has been considering a move for Nolan and Scholes' report will have encouraged him to launch an ?million raid in the summer.
Scholes, 31, is battling an eye problem that has kept him out since the New Year.
He plans to return to action next season - and told Fergie that Nolan would be his ideal partner before eventually replacing him as the Reds' main attacking midfielder.
Bolton boss Sam Allardyce would be reluctant to let Nolan leave - but knows there is little he could do to knock back United. |
