The Argentinian has been the subject of a bid from Liverpool, but United have confirmed the defender will not be joining their fierce rivals. Heinze is hoping to quit the Premier League champions before the start of the season due to concerns over his place in Sir Alex Ferguson's side. While Ferguson has assured fans that Heinze will not sign for Liverpool, chief executive Gill admits he will also not go to Arsenal or Chelsea either. And Gill also stressed that United are not actively looking to part with the South American, who has become a huge favourite with the Old Trafford faithful. "We've rejected that because it's Liverpool," said Gill of an offer the club received on Monday. "We wouldn't sell to Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea, and we have relayed that to the agent. "We have told him that in no uncertain terms. I couldn't have been clearer about it. "We gave an indication of value to the player and we made it clear to the agent, not in the letter, but in the meeting, that we wouldn't allow a sale to any of our domestic rivals." Gill added: "We're not desperate to sell him. He's got two years left on his contract. "If there was a significant offer from overseas, we would discuss that internally and discuss it with the player and see what he wants." 专业曼联球迷网站,曼联球迷的地盘,为广大球迷提供最新曼联新闻与视频资源.: @/ d3 X; f+ m, }& j* d
