Newcastle legend Alan Shearer says he always knew the Manchester United pairing of Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez would click.
　　"I am a huge fan of Wayne Rooney's and everyone knows that. He has great ability and strength," Shearer told the Manchester Evening News.

　　"We scored 49 goals together in one season so there was no problem there despite the fact it may have appeared on the surface not a compatible partnership.
