Wayne Rooney admits he has missed too many games this season to accept a rest for Manchester United's UEFA Champions League draw against Roma.

Sir Alex Ferguson left the bulk of his big names back in England for Wednesday's 1-1 draw, but Rooney was among those to feature at Stadio Olimpico.
He captained United for the first time and, having been sidelined with foot and ankle injuries already this season, is in no mood to sit out any more matches. 曼联在线·球迷地带% g5 x* e$ D  W- K3 E
"I've missed enough games this season to be sitting out of any game," Rooney told Sky Sports News. - 专业·专注·曼联中文网站4 P$ v$ @% @; L; a9 A( c( T6 U
"I want to play in all the games. I didn't want to miss any more, especially after the start of the season. It was good for me to have a run-out tonight.
"I think with each game you get fitter and I'm feeling good now. Hopefully the break I've had could help me towards the end of the season."

He added: "It was a good experience for a lot of the younger players coming in to the team. They handled it well and we got a good result. 曼联在线·球迷地带' U! p# C4 |$ q% O8 A
"To play Champions League, Roma away is a massive game for some of the young lads, but they have come in and done really well, and I think everyone is proud of that.   R/ M" ^( V- ?$ |
"A lot of players stayed at home and it was a good chance for the young lads. The manager showed great belief in them and it was a great experience to come and see what the Champions League is all about."

鲁尼坦言这个赛季他错过了太多比赛，所以在对罗马的比赛中不愿接受轮休的安排。
弗格森让他大部分的球星都留在了英格兰备战，此役战成1-1平，不过鲁尼却来到了奥林匹克球场，并且起了重要作用。
这是他第一次戴起队长袖标，刚刚从脚踝受伤中恢复过来的鲁尼，现在不想再坐在场外看比赛。
他对天空体育新闻说：“这个赛季我错过的比赛够多的了，不想再在任何比赛中置身度外。
“我想踢所有的比赛。我不想再错过什么了，特别是这个赛季初的那次受伤之后。今天能来参加比赛我很开心。
“我想每场比赛都会帮助我渐渐找回感觉，我现在感觉很好。希望我前一阵的休息能帮我撑到赛季最后。”
