First of all, Quagliarella expressed his delight for being considered among the better strikers in Italy.
"Seeing my name placed among the best football players gives me an amazing feeling," he said.
"However, I know that I still have to progress and showcase a lot.
"I can easily say that this is the most important time of my career so far. I am awaiting a very tough season, in which I will have to reconfirm myself on a high note."
Further on, the 23-year old spoke about Sampdoria and Udinese, and that he fancies the possibility of a stint at either Manchester United or Juventus.
