The champions have collected just two points and one goal from their three Premier League games so far and have slipped nine points behind their high-flying Manchester rivals, but Hargreaves believes the goal drought is only short-term.
"We are creating enough chances but, obviously, we need to score," said the former Bayern Munich midfielder.
"It is something we will have to work on in the coming games because really,
by the time Manchester City scored yesterday, we should have been in front.
