The English champions' new striker is all smiles ahead of the new season.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted that new signing Michael Owen is enjoying life at Old Trafford.

“I've been really pleased with the way he has trained,” Sir Alex told the Mail on Sunday.

“He is really enjoying himself.”
The United boss also tipped Owen to be among the goals for his new club and insisted that the striker has never really lost his goalscoring touch.

“But really he has never lost it.
“Although he had a few injury problems at Newcastle, he kept up the excellent goals-per-game ratio he has had throughout his career.”
